At My Butchers Block, we strive to ensure that your wooden products are delivered to you promptly and securely. Our shipping policy outlines how we handle the delivery of your orders.
Order Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1-3 business days. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Once your order is processed, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information, so you can monitor your delivery.
Shipping Rates and Delivery Times
We offer the following shipping options:
Standard Shipping (within South Africa):
- Rate: R99. Free Shipping for orders over R1000
- Delivery Time: 3-5 business days
Express Shipping (within South Africa):
- Rate: R450
- Delivery Time: 1-3 business days
Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on your location and any unforeseen delays with the courier service.
International Shipping
Currently, we only ship within South Africa. We are working to offer international shipping in the near future.
Shipping Restrictions
Due to the nature of our wooden products, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes or remote locations that are not serviced by our courier partners. If you are unsure whether we can deliver to your address, please contact us before placing your order.
Order Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this number to track your order’s progress through our courier partner’s website.
Damaged or Lost Packages
If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. Provide us with photographic evidence of the damage, and we will work with the courier to resolve the issue.
In the rare event that your package is lost in transit, please notify us as soon as possible. We will investigate the issue with the courier and take appropriate action, including sending a replacement or issuing a refund.
Shipping Delays
While we aim to deliver your order within the estimated delivery time, unforeseen delays may occur due to factors beyond our control (e.g., weather conditions, strikes). We appreciate your understanding and patience in such cases. If your order is significantly delayed, we will notify you and provide an update on the status of your shipment.
